Since the Six Day War, US presidents and presidential candidates have tended to speak of the US and Israel as great friends and allies. They have also tended to favor the shrinking of Israel's borders. This has reached a low point under the Bush administration, which is the first one to explicitly make its policy the establishment of an Arab state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Thus, the US alliance with Israel has been a decidedly mixed blessing.

Well, can't say I disagree. Israel can take care of itself. It has, and it will. There is an unintended, but real, byproduct of U.S. support of Israel, and that is there is a growing and still somewhat unspoken blaming of Israel for the mess the U.S. is in the Middle East. You know the blogs, and in particular the commentaries on Zionism. The old thought that Jewish people cannot be loyal to the country they live in because they are loyal to Israel is emerging among far too many people. The American Zionists are not doing Israel any good at all, in fact they are doing harm. You would know that the term "neocon" is merely a code for Jewish Zionists. Recent clumsy and provocative efforts to stamp out anti-semitism, by such as Dershowitz or Podhoretz or the AIPAC is not dangerous to the anti-semites, as it proves what they maintain -- that Jewish people are not "patriotic" Americans. Ron Paul's intention is simply to allow Israel to go its own way, and to let the Middle East work out its own destiny. Its really past time for Uncle Sam to start taking care of his own business. Bush & Co. are nothing less than a prolongation of that dreadful American tradition of sending out missionaries to convert the world into what they imagine to be a better world. Take a look at Hagee's eyes... you can see the contempt he has for the Jewish people (who will go directly to Hell as soon as J.C. makes good on his promise to return). Well, anyhow, my best.
..no, the word neocon is not a code for Jewish Zionists, it's a code for neocons. If anybody uses it in another meaning, they're an anti-semite moron.
